Theater Training and Development at the BA Arts Center
Posted on
As part of its program for theater training and development, the BA Arts Center is glad to announce that it is now open to suggestions for innovative theater workshops. Professional national and international trainers are welcome to propose ideas of workshops that tackle any of the following technical aspects of theater: acting, directing, set/props designing, wardrobe/costumes, lighting, writing, criticism, …etc.). The workshops could target beginners or professionals, and all accepted proposals will become a part of the center’s program for theater training and development.
All submissions should include the trainer’s basic information; the title of the workshop; a summary of the workshop; the trainer’s academic and professional background; the duration (number of days and the number of hours) of the workshop; the target participants; the required and convenient venue for the event; and a proposed starting date of the workshop.
Each trainer can submit more than one suggestion for the same technical aspect or for different ones. Proposals can be submitted throughout the whole year, and the date of each accepted workshop and the process of its organization will be set in coordination with the BA Arts Center.
The BA Arts Center also welcomes submissions from organizations, artists, and experts that are affiliated with theatrical arts and theater productions.
Suggestions and submissions are to be emailed to Saeed Kabeel, theatre coordinator, Arts Center, Bibliotheca Alexandria.
