The Francophone Activities Center Launches a Competition in Commemoration of Jules Verne’s Death

In the framework of the Francophone Month, the Francophone Activities Center, in collaboration with the Senghor University of Alexandria, is organizing a competition about the French author, Jules Verne (1828–1905) in French, on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of his death.
For entering the competition, participants interested in Jules Verne’s literary works must submit a science fiction short story, a summary or a translation of any works about Jules Verne, an artwork, whether a portrayal or a retouched photo using various graphic techniques, or a short video clip featuring his works.
The deadline for submission is 7 March 2015.Winners will be announced in the competition, and will receive prizes and certificates of appreciation on 19 March 2015, at the BA Conference Center Small Theater.
