Lecture: Hazards of Agricultural Pests

Alexandria — the Youth for Sustainable Development and Better Understanding Program organized by the Center for Special Studies and Programs is holding a series of lectures on education, environment, and population growth. In this context, the CSSP is organizing on Saturday, 5 August 2006, a lecture titled Agricultural Pests and Disease Carriers by Dr. Salah Soliman, Professor of Pesticide Chemistry and Toxicology, Faculty of Agriculture, Alexandria University. Dr. Soliman will explain the nature of agricultural pests, how it harms plants and man, and the scientific methods to combat it.
The lecture will start at 17:00 hrs at the Meeting Hall, at the BA Conference Center, open to the public.
