Chinese Defense Attaché to Egypt in a Visit to the BA

Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, welcomed Major General Wu Qian, Chinese Defense Attaché to Egypt, and his high-level delegation.
The delegation toured the Library, including the Main Reading Area, where they learned about the Library's various projects, and visited a number of exhibitions and museums.
Both sides emphasized the deep historical relations between Egypt and China, and the keenness of both countries to enhance joint cultural and scientific cooperation in a manner that serves mutual interests and promotes understanding between the two peoples.
Dr. Ahmed Zayed and Major General Wu Qian exchanged commemorative gifts during the visit.
