As part of the Arab League's celebrations marking its 80th anniversary, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, through its Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage, took part in presenting the “Panorama of the Arab League Memory”, with the aim of highlighting its historical achievements and its pivotal role in shaping the future of the Arab nation.
This interactive panorama is an eloquent testimony to the deep cultural partnership between the Arab League and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina. It provides the public with a unique opportunity to explore the milestones that have shaped the Arab League's journey since its establishment on 22 March 1945, including the key moments when the Arab nation faced major challenges and the League succeeded in addressing them.
The panorama also highlights the roles of the successive secretaries-general of the Arab League, each of whom contributed to consolidating its position and strengthening the mechanisms of joint Arab action. It also sheds light on the League's tireless efforts to achieve economic integration and enhance international cooperation.
