The Director General of the Congo Museum in a Visit to the BA

Dr. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, welcomed Ms. Belinda Ayessa, Director General of the Congo Museum, and her accompanying delegation, on their visit to the Library.
Dr. Zayed thanked Ms. Ayessa for visiting Egypt and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina stressing the Library's readiness for all forms of cooperation with the Congo Museum that aim to strengthen relations between the two countries. He also pointed out that the Library has donated to the Museum a set of translated books and others released by the Library's Center of Francophone Activities.
Ms. Ayessa gifted Dr. Zayed a wooden statue depicting a mother extending her hand to her son to rise, as well as a volume on the history of the Congo. Dr. Zayed, in turn, presented her with a collection of BA publications in French.
Following the meeting, Ms. Ayessa toured the various sections of the Library.
