The BA Releases the Arabic Edition of the Book Farewell to Alexandria

The BA Alexandria and Mediterranean Research Center (Alex Med) has released the Arabic version of the book Farewell to Alexandria, written by the Greek writer Harry Tzalas and translated by Ms. Ghada Gad.
The book features eleven short stories in which the author narrates his personal experiences in Alexandria. The stories take the reader to the past of this cosmopolitan city as lived by the author against the backdrop of major historical events, starting from the serene atmosphere in the late thirties, through the period of World War II, to the 1952 revolution and the subsequent dispersion of the city’s foreign community.
