Zayed and Makram Inaugurate “Sketch Your Future”Conference at the BA

Prof. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and Ambassador Nabila Makram, Head of the Technical Secretariat and Executive Director of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, inaugurated this morning the eighteenth annual conference "Sketch Your Future", organized by the BA for high school students, in the presence of MP Ahmed Abu Hashima, Chairman of the Egyptian Senate’s Youth and Sports Committee.
In his speech, Prof. Ahmed Zayed expressed his delight at the launch of the conference, in the presence of Ambassador Nabila Makram, MP Ahmed Abu Hashima, university presidents, deans, and professors. He referred to the BA’s membership in the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, expressing his hope that this cooperation will be the beginning of a meaningful developmental work that brings together young people and serves production, innovation, creativity, and progress.
He also announced that the BA is in the process of establishing a digital innovation center, which will provide young people with free training and professional opportunities to contribute to digital creativity in terms of using codes, digital technology, artificial intelligence, and all matters related to digital technologies.
For her part, Ambassador Nabila Makram praised the Bibliotheca Alexandrina under the leadership of Prof. Ahmed Zayed, and commended the organization of the conference for the eighteenth consecutive year, with the participation of a great gathering of young people and online followers. She also welcomed MP Ahmed Abu Hashima, Trustee of the National Alliance, stressing that he is an example of a self-made young businessman.
