“Egypt: The Story of Man and Place” in an Event at the BA

The BA Map Unit, in cooperation with ADASA Club, inaugurated yesterday an event entitled "Egypt: The Story of Man and Place.” The event was attended by Prof. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the BA; Prof. Fathi Abu Ayanah, Professor Emeritus of Human Geography at the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University; Mr. Alaa Al-Basha, Liaison Officer at the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP); Dr. Amr Abdel Wahab, astrophotographer, astrophysicist and President of Dr. Mostafa Mahmoud Astronomical Society; filmmaker Mr. Moamen El-Shennawy; and engineer Yasser Al-Rasoul, Egyptian photographer and traveler.
The week-long event presents several lectures and a photographic exhibition featuring more than 83 artists.
The exhibition runs until 29 April in the East Exhibition Hall.
