Masterpieces of the BA Collections in a Commemorative Issue of Memory of Egypt Magazine

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina has released a special commemorative issue of Memory of Egypt magazine, which comes as part of the Library's 20th anniversary celebrations. This 50th issue comprises the most significant BA holdings with regard to arts, exhibitions, manuscripts and museums.
The issue featured an editorial by Prof. Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and General Supervisor of the magazine, together with multiple articles by researchers, experts and BA senior figures on how to revive the Bibliotheca Alexandrina and integrate the spirit of the old library into the new library. The issue also shed light on the visual documentation carried out by the Library for its valuable treasures, its creations through electronic media, as well as the high technological capabilities it possesses, which help transfer its remarkable belongings to the digital world.
It is noteworthy that a number of distinguished issues of Memory of Egypt magazine have recently been released, which were well received by readers, such as the ones on the centenary of King Farouk I, the history of Egyptian resorts, the Nile River, the history of civil work in Egypt, the centenary of the golden pharaoh Tutankhamun, among others.
The magazine is distributed at the following venues: Cairo International Book Fair, the BA outlets in Alexandria, Sinnari House in Sayeda Zeinab, Princess Khadija Palace in Helwan, and the Center for Documentation of Natural and Cultural Heritage (CULTNAT) in the Smart Village.
