The BA Participates in Zayed Book Fair

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina participates in the eighth round of Zayed Book Fair, which takes place from 12 – 24 October 2022, in Sheikh Zayed City.
This significant cultural event is held under the auspices of Dr. Nevine El-Kilany, Minister of Culture, and Major General Ahmed Rashed, Governor of Giza.
The BA is displaying its latest publications at the Book Fair, including The Biophilic Design of the Alhambra by researcher and architect Ahmed Al-Rhodesly, and Pharaonic Beauties… The Secret and Charm of the Queens of Hearts and Tutankhamun… The Pharaoh of Glory and Eternity by Dr. Hussein Abdel Bassir.
The Fair also features the fifth issue of The Memory of Arabs magazine. Research topics in the this issue vary to include studies in both Arabic and English, conducted by specialized Egyptian, Arab and foreign researchers on Mamluk equine manuscripts, and sources of equine history in the Mamluk era, in addition to shedding light on siege tactics in the era of the Bahri Mamluks.
Additionally, the BA participates in the Book Fair with Marased and Awrak series, as well as The Memory of Egypt magazine. Abgadiyat, an annual international scientific peer-reviewed periodical published by the BA Writing and Scripts Center, and the Coptic Notebooks series are also part of the BA collection displayed in its pavilion at the Fair.
