Online Workshop: "Climate Change: Lens on Priorities"

The BA Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP), in collaboration with the World Academy of Sciences for the Advancement of Science in Developing Countries' Arab Regional Partner (TWAS-AREP), organizes an online workshop on climate change, held within the framework of the Young Scientists Training Program from 7 – 8 December 2021.
The workshop aims at highlighting the priority issues of climate change, research priorities, and climate change related risks and concerns for developing countries, with particular focus on the Arab region. Additionally, the workshop will present practical experiences from different developing regions on the means of tackling climate change and the role of research in this regard.
The workshop will give the opportunity for young researchers under the age of 40 to network with experts and researchers from developing counties.
Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be 40 years old or less.

Master’s/ PhD Students and PhD holders in any field of life or natural sciences.

Living/ working in developing countries.
Women scientists, refugees, and/or displaced scientists are highly encouraged to apply.
The workshop is free of charge.
