Commerce, Economy and Reform Movements at the “Relationships between the Arab Mashreq and Maghreb” Conference

A session entitled “Relationships between Reform Movements in the Arab Mashreq and Maghreb” was held as part of the “Relationships between the Arab Mashreq and Maghreb … Past, Present and Future: Visions in Rewriting History” conference that took place on 24 and 25 September 2018 at the BA. Dr. Abdulwahid Dhanun from Iraq moderated the session, with the participation of Dr. Fathy Al-Qasimy from Tunisia, Dr. Abdel Wahab Khaled from Algeria and Ambassador Mohamed Ibrahim Hassairi from Tunisia.
The conference also witnessed a session entitled “Commerce and Economy in the Mashreq and Maghreb Relationships,” where Dr. Moustafa Al-Kathiri talked about the economic dimensions in the Mashreq and Maghreb Relationships. It also featured Dr. Darem Al-Bassam’s talk about the “Economic Integration between Mashreq and Maghreb Countries,” while Dr. Mohamed Abdel Shafei Essa spoke about the “Economic Dimension in the Mashreq and Maghreb Relationships: a Look into General History.”
