Sofia University in Bulgaria Awards Honorary Doctorate to BA Director

Sofia University in Bulgaria held an award ceremony to celebrate awarding Dr. Ismail Serageldin, the Director of the BA, its honorary doctorate, as well as the Saint Kliment Ohridski Medal of Honor. Dr. Serageldin was invited by the university rector to give a lecture titled “The Use and Abuse of History” during the ceremony.
During his visit, Dr. Serageldin met with President Rosen Plevneliev, President of Bulgaria, at the presidential palace in Sofia, where he received the honorary medal of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria.
It is worth mentioning that this is Dr. Serageldin’s 35th honorary doctorate, as he was previously awarded with 34 honorary doctorates from different universities around the world.
