Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs Visits the BA

Alexandria—H.E. Minister Massimo D’Alema, Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs visited the BA on Tuesday, 4 September 2007, being a major scientific and cultural complex not only in Egypt and the Middle East, but in the entire world, to explore potentials of cooperation between Italy and the BA.
Ambassador Hagar Islambouly, Head of the BA External Relations Sector and Dr. Sherif Riad, Director of Public Relations Department, accompanied the minister and his delegation on a tour of the Library, its affiliated exhibitions, museums, research centers and the Planetarium Science Center and different services offered by the BA to members and visitors.
