BA Inaugurates “A Life Journey: Adam Henein and Ramses Marzouk” Exhibition

The BA Art Exhibitions and Collections Department inaugurated the “A Life Journey: Adam Henein and Ramses Marzouk” Exhibition on Thursday, 2 August 2018. The Exhibition is a culmination of the artworks created by two great Egyptian visual artists, whose works transcended into the international sphere, influencing many on the academic and artistic levels.

The Exhibition comprises a collection of sculptures by Adam Henein, the most important of which is the statue of Umm Kulthum. It will also include a collection of works by Ramses Marzouk, focuisng different themes, such as Egyptian workers and monuments. This is in addition to the production of a catalog that includes a number of Egyptian and international critiques written about both artists.

Artists Adam Henein and Ramses Marzouk succeeded in influencing and changing the perception of plastic arts and creating a new generation of young people whose minds  were absorbed with arts.

The exhibition was opened at 5:00 pm at the BACC East Exhibition Hall and will continue until Monday, 27 August 2018.
