Microfilm and digitization are considered two of the most important tools used for preserving rare manuscripts, publications, and important documents that can be lost or damaged over time or due to frequent exchanges. These tools also facilitate access to photocopied manuscripts and documents without compromising their original copies. The Exchange and Archive Section was established to enrich manuscript digital content, share manuscript copies (photocopied or digitized) with other entities or libraries concerned with this topic, supply the library with new and rare manuscripts in different fields of study, and offer different services to researchers and specialists. Researchers can also look up microfilm manuscripts in a special hall.
